Tonto Dikeh Trends After Church Prophecy Video Goes Viral

The popular bible passage, Matthew 20:16 wherein Jesus said that “The last shall be the first…”, has again found some sort of fulfillment as Nollywood actress-turned-evangelist Tonto Dikeh has stirred gained attention to herself, as she often does, since her acclaimed ‘born-again’.

This time, the actress who was once immersed in a relationship controversy with Delta State socialite, Kpokpogiri, that saw episodes of leaked nudes, and several callouts, has now turned prophetess.

A video of Ms Dikeh calling out members of her congregation and delivering personal messages during a church service has since gone viral.

In the video, recorded at her Abuja-based New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), Ms Dikeh is seen holding a microphone and addressing worshippers during what appeared to be a prophetic ministration.

Ms Dikeh her launched her own interdenominational Christian ministry and fellowship, The New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT) in August 2026, following her testimony about her deliverance from a 27-year smoking addiction, which started at age 13, severe alcoholism, chronic anger, and spiritual oppression/nightmares, at Streams of Joy Church in December 2025.

The actress has since been very active in various church activities, in February she was featured in viral videos serving as an active volunteer worker at Pastor Jerry Eze’s NSPPD Lagos Prayer Crusade, coordinating setup and arranging chairs for worshippers. Ms Dikeh also graduated and received her certificate from the Discipleship Class at Streams of Joy International.

Prophetic Ministry

In a recent viral video, the actress was seen in her church, ministering and prophesying to the congregation.

She mentions names, including “Elizabeth Owolabi” and “Happiness”, as she delivers a message centred on forgiveness, bitterness and spiritual growth.

“Why is it hard for you to forgive me?” she asks before urging a woman in the congregation to let go of past hurts.

“If you want to enjoy what God is taking you to, my sister, you must have to forgive. It might be difficult, it might be painful, but you must forgive,” she says in the video.

From Nollywood to Ministry

In August 2026, Ms Dikeh announced the establishment of New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle, describing it as an interdenominational spiritual movement dedicated to prayer, revival and the development of committed Christians.

In her announcement, she said the ministry’s vision was to promote a global awakening of believers through what she described as the power, purity, and presence of God.

She also explained that NWPT was not a conventional church but a gathering of believers committed to spiritual growth and service.

The ministry announced weekly fellowship meetings in Jabi, Abuja, as part of its activities.

Like Prophet Odumeji who started up as a gospel singer, Ms Dikeh is set to give Odumeji a run for his money.
