Many nations did not fall by war. They fell by pleasure. And the men who watched it happen never saw it coming.
Sex is a superpower, and how a man uses it determines whether he builds or destroys. Wherefore the obituary of nations is declared on the hill of sexual liberty. Sexual perversion is a bottomless pit, in that there is no end to pleasure-seeking, and like all destructive appetites, it thrives because people are drawn to what harms them. Before we proceed, it is pertinent to establish that “presentation” is not an invitation.
Those who live in my city, Calabar, dubbed Californication, will testify that flying titties aren’t a strange sight. Everywhere you look, you see them. Let’s not even talk about the skirts that struggle to cover those fat bums. Or is it the shirts turned into dresses? Everywhere you look, you see them! Thighs. Healthy-looking thighs. Generously fleshy breasts. Caramel backs! The city is steeped in body positivity. Nevertheless, just because it is presented doesn’t mean you are invited. No, son.
With that said, the memory of Adolf Hitler is not smiled upon, and justly so. Nevertheless, there is wisdom we can draw from Hitler’s interactions with the world. Before the rise of Hitler, the Weimar Republic had one of the most liberal sexual cultures in Europe. Berlin, in fact, was the sexual capital of the world. Berlin had sexual research institutes, open discussion of sexuality, and gay clubs and publications. The Nazi regime, led by Hitler, deliberately reversed that openness.
Although there was no single Hitler anti pornography law, the Nazis relied mainly on the 1926 law against obscene publications and existing criminal code sections. As such, after 1933, they enforced those laws far more aggressively as part of their campaign for what they called “Moral purification” of German society.
The 1926 Law for the Protection of Youth from Obscene and Trash Publications. This law allowed the government to ban pornographic books, magazines, and images; prohibit public sale or display of obscene material; restrict distribution of such works, especially to young people; and create blacklists of banned publications. This law targeted what the government called “schmutz und shund,” meaning “filth and trash.”
Of course, the Nazi government used it differently. Censorship was expanded, and institutions studying sexuality were closed down. Nazi groups destroyed the famous sex-research institute of Magnus Hirschfeld in May 1933, burning its library of sexual research materials. More so, sexual literature and images were confiscated, and publishers and booksellers of these materials were arrested.
We must, however, acknowledge the argument, which I agree is strong, against the moral purification campaign. It was not mainly about morality. The ulterior motive of the Nazis regime was societal control. Then again, we must ask ourselves the obvious question: aren’t all government policies a well-told lie? America’s Trip to the Moon was a political pissing contest. It was never about scientific exploration. As such, in spite of how ill-motivated this policy was, it achieved its aim. German families were strengthened. Strengthened families are a strengthened nation.
Though emphasis must be placed on the moral inconsistencies of the system, one need not be a Nazi sympathizer to know how much the system treasured the minds of children and teenagers. Politically motivated? Yes. Hitler, through organizations like the Hitler Youth and the League of German Girls, taught ideology and encouraged loyalty to the state above family. However, traditional family structure was promoted. Marriage and birth policies were formulated. These allowed for incentives for having more children, men had reduced public sexual expression, and sexuality was rechanneled, sex within marriage, even though reproduction was mostly for the state.
Observe the four major reasons that motivated the Nazis to push these restrictions: moral purification, protection of youth, population policy, yes, the Nazis wanted sexuality focused strictly on marriage and reproduction of iron children and ideological control.
My dear boy, I present these to you, not as a Nazi sympathizer, but to present you with the facts: no nation succeeds wallowing in sexual degeneracy. It has served no nation any good. “Everything seems new, if you are ignorant of history,” says Rick Warren. Rome, Ancient Greece, the Weimar Republic, Babylon, and the French Monarchy (pre-French Revolution) will concur.
My dear boy, pornography is no longer hidden. It is normalized, and that is the danger. It is nonetheless a brain-rewiring product that should never have been produced. See, sexual liberty is the undoing of nations; at the grassroots, it is the undoing of any family. The African American society is the supposed scum of the world, a little better than India, because of how depraved they are as a people. Their greatest export is social degeneracy. Little wonder they are a people stuck in the loop of victimhood. They have no story other than that, as victimhood has colored their identity.
My son, I have come to realize that the defining moment of a man’s life isn’t when his penis stands in salute to what he sees; it is when he stands in resolution to his beliefs. Yes, for we shall be tested. Need I say more? Pray. Pray that you be not tempted beyond your strength, in that because a man who does not know himself will fall to his desires. Because like taxes and death, temptation is certain where desires live.
In all, consider this an introduction to the subject of the impact, or the effect of a wanton sex life; sexual discipline is the hallmark of a true man, have it! When a society loses discipline, shared values, and strong institutions, changes in sexual norms may appear alongside that decline, but they are not usually the primary cause.
